The history of The United Monarchy of Giezwa℠ is the story of a generational vision developing into an organized institution built around family legacy, governance, culture, public service, development, and long-term continuity.
UMG began with a vision to create something capable of extending beyond one generation. That vision expanded into the development of a Royal House, governing framework, institutional identity, public resources, development initiatives, ceremonial traditions, and systems designed to preserve UMG history for future generations.
On July 22, 2025, The United Monarchy of Giezwa (Government-In-Exile) was formally organized as a Minnesota nonprofit corporation under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A, creating a legal organizational foundation for UMG's continuing institutional development.
2010 — THE VISION BEGINS
Long before The United Monarchy of Giezwa was formally organized, King Giezwa Monarch began developing the ideas that would eventually become UMG.
Beginning in 2010, the vision centered on building a permanent institution for family legacy, generational continuity, governance, economic development, education, culture, humanitarian work, business development, and the creation of opportunities that could continue beyond the founding generation.
2010–2024 — YEARS OF PLANNING
Over the following years, the vision continued to evolve through research, planning, writing, business development, family planning, institutional concepts, governance models, long-term development ideas, and the creation of systems intended to support a multigenerational institution.
The work explored how family legacy, business, governance, education, culture, community participation, development, intellectual property, ceremonial traditions, and future international opportunities could eventually operate within one organized framework.
2025 — THE VISION BECOMES FORMALLY ORGANIZED
After years of planning and institutional development, The United Monarchy of Giezwa (Government-In-Exile) was formally organized as a Minnesota nonprofit corporation under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A.
The filing marked the transition from years of private development into a formally organized institutional phase.
2025–2026 — BUILDING THE INSTITUTION
Formal organization marked the beginning of a new phase rather than the completion of the vision.
UMG continued developing its governing framework, Royal House, institutional records, intellectual property, public resources, Legal Information Services, Citizens in Waiting framework, development strategy, ceremonial traditions, archives, and international-development planning.
2026 — PROTECTING THE NAME & INSTITUTION
As UMG's institutional identity expanded, work continued to preserve and protect its name, original materials, governing works, visual identity, and other intellectual property developed during the Founding Era..
PRESENT — THE FOUNDING ERA CONTINUES
The United Monarchy of Giezwa remains within its Founding Era. New institutions, records, public resources, development initiatives, ceremonies, partnerships, and milestones continue to be documented as the vision developed over more than a decade moves into its next stage.
